Lee Alexander Dunn was born July 29th, 1991 at Riverside Hospital in Toledo Ohio. His parents, Alfred & Gloria, were both from rural communities near Winona Mississippi. Lee has an older brother, older sister, and two younger brothers. Lee grew up in a small home in North Toledo, that his father worked very hard to pay for. Lee’s father worked at Ford Motor Company in Monroe Michigan, before that location closed in 2008. Lee’s mother has overcome significant health issues over the years, and her overall health condition has been a substantial determining factor in Lee’s motivation for political ambition. Lee’s father passed away when Lee was two months into his freshman year of college. Lee’s mother has lived in assisted living since 2020, with all his siblings living in the Toledo area.
Lee was a quiet child, who always analyzed the world around him. He became fascinated with politics at an early age especially during the 2008 financial crisis and the election of Barack Obama. He always had interest in sports, but computers, engineering, finance, and politics were more fascinating to him. At age 17, Lee spoke in front of the Ohio State Legislature as measures were proposed to cut funding to his high school and negatively affect Toledo Public Schools. Lee was the student that was asked to go, and Lee delivered a powerful message that saved the funding cuts from happening.
Lee was fascinated with cars his entire life. His dad was a mechanic by trade, and Lee learned a lot from his father about cars. Lee build several vehicles in high school that were powered by alternative energy (electricity, propane, and E-85). He was always determined to come up with a solution to a problem relative to mechanical design, and his ability to problem solve crosses many spectrums and disciplines.
Lee was a natural born leader, excelling in school and easily finding leadership roles everywhere he went. By age 21, he had already served as president of several high school and collegiate organizations.
Lee’s education started in Toledo at St. Elizabeth Seton Elementary School (closed 2006), then he graduated with honors from Toledo Technology Academy of Engineering in 2009. Lee went to Lawrence Technology University in Southfield MI and majored in Industrial Operations Engineering.
Lee had the privilege of working with several key mentors that defined his perspective. From successful business attorneys, investors, business owners, college professors, pastors, and politicians, Lee always kept a tight circle of elite contacts that guided him through critical decisions and enhanced his global perspective to widen his impact.
Lee’s career had some great wins and some significant challenges. The COVID-19 pandemic, inflation of this decade, and developing the right supporting teams defined Lee’s rise to 2024. On a personal level, Lee also had a failed marriage as a result of political and business pressures affecting his life. In 2024, Lee saw a major opportunity for America and the world when he began scoping his vision for United 1GPS. For months, Lee studied the foundations of the American experience, recognizing philosophy, economic patterns, the influence of religion, dynamics of race, masculine versus feminine dominance in American culture, and a host of subjects ranging from ancient Egypt to current international diplomacy. This research provided a foundation for a global movement that will surpass Lee’s lifetime in the pursuit of all people being created equal, all religions being respected, all genders recognized, and the American Dream not only for the people who live in America but for a dream that, using the internet, crosses every border in the world.4o mini
Through Lee’s professional accomplishments, he has already impacted American life through millions of shipments and electronic social media downloads from his marketing company. He has traveled most of the United States, recognizing the vast landscapes within North America. Through United 1 GPS, Lee has expanded his vision to a global stage that will not only influence billions of people, but he is also leading an educational campaign to fundamentally change the course of history in American and global politics. He has met with Fortune 500 CEOs, foreign ambassadors, politicians at every level of government, and has built a coalition that has an endless amount of energy behind it. Lee recognizes that it's time for change, it's time for progress, and it's time for impact. In July 2025, Lee is launching his first political campaign, seeking to be the U.S. House Representative of the Ohio 9th Congressional District as a Democratic candidate challenging a representative who has held this seat since 1983. Lee is a millennial who has been affected by student loan debt, has never owned his own home, and despite being a CEO, has personally financially sacrificed for years to support his employees and grow his business. There are more Black NBA players in Ohio than there are Black CEOs of multi-million-dollar companies, and Lee’s compensation has always aligned with a mid-level manager, staying humble in an environment where he knows his employees need more income to survive the current American economy.
Lee’s schedule has always been one of his largest challenges. Today, he has a very demanding travel schedule with speaking engagements, managing his organizations, and building his coalition. Lee is always available after 5:00 AM and is known for working as late as 2:00 AM. He is not phased by working 6-7 days per week, as he has done since 2014. He balances his workload with a healthy diet, is focusing on his exercise schedule, and enjoys time outdoors as much as possible. Lee’s leadership style is driven by goals with clear outcomes, preferring direct communication to keep all stakeholders informed. He strives to maintain project plans for every aspect of his responsibilities. Lee is a very generous person, who is known for caring for others' needs. His servant leadership approach makes him successful with his clients, employees, and his public image
There are three projects that are near to Lee’s heart. With a passion for science education, Lee has impacted almost 4 million students nationwide with a STEM curriculum project he takes great pride in. Lee shares his lifelong legacy project with his brother Josh, where they both are committed to inexpensive temporary shelter homes for people across the world affected by natural disasters and/or homelessness. Lee’s future political legacy is based on his 15-year plan to fundamentally reset the representation of younger generations in American politics from 2025-2040, when he plans on retiring and spending his life volunteering like one of his role models, former U.S. President Jimmy Carter.
